Procedures, safety, regulatory compliance – combine these words with
training and what do you get? Boring, right? Not necessarily.
Put the "Fresh" Back in Refresher
 A Fortune 500
pharmaceutical company has found a way to meet training requirements without
putting employees to sleep in its Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients division.
All division employees attend a one-week refresher training course every
year. They call it "Fifth Shift." The course uses a strong theme and
innovative teaching methods to make the experience memorable. They say it puts
the "fresh" back in refresher.
ImageStream has assisted in this effort for several years by creating a
high-impact opening video that strongly illustrates the theme while being
exciting and fun to watch.
It’s A War Out There
 In Fifth Shift, a
team of soldiers, led by a fiery general (all played by employees) prepare to
wage war against high costs, quality defects, regulatory noncompliance, and the
competition.
Their goal is to increase
their competitive advantage while providing quality pharmaceutical ingredients
for the production of life-saving medicines. The opening video uses an inspiring
script, plenty of action, exciting sound effects and music to entertain the
audience and leave them cheering at the end. The "soldiers" train on a
real military base with real tanks and carry out daring tasks such as rappelling
down a 60-foot tower.
Video Industry Recognition
The Fifth Shift opening video has won the highest honor of the U.S.
International Film and Video Festival. Other projects produced by ImageStream
have won major video industry honors in past years, such as the Telly Award,
Videographer Award and Awards in Media Achievement.
Most
importantly, employees use words like "fantastic,"
"inspiring," "fun," and "awesome" to describe the
Fifth Shift training experience.
